Crystal Palace Announce Signing Of Ex-Nigeria U20s Invitee Freddie Ladapo
English Premier League side Crystal Palace have announced the signing of Freddie Ladapo from non-league side Margate, subject to approval from The Premier League and The Football Association.<br /><br />The 23-year-old has appended his signature to a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Eagles following a successful trial in which he scored a hat-trick for the Under 21 team.<br /><br />Ladapo started his career with Colchester United, where he spent four years and turned professional in 2011.<br /><br />Whilst at The U’s, he spent time on loan at Thurrock, Chelmsford City, Bishop’s Stortford, Woking, Nuneaton Town, Kidderminster Harriers, Hayes & Yeading United and Grays Athletic.<br /><br />In 49 outings for Margate, Freddie Ladapo netted 23 goals.<br /><br />He trained with the Flying Eagles ahead of the 2011 Fifa Under 20 World Cup but did not make the squad for the tournament in Colombia.<br /><b><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br /></b>Photo Credit:margate-fc.co.uk<b><br /></b>
