Dele Ali Scoops Football League Young Player of the Year Award
England youth - teamer Dele Alli scooped The Football League’s Young Player of the Year for the 2014 - 2015 season, which rewards the most outstanding youngster in the second - fourth level of English football.<br /><br />The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, who is on loan at MK Dons until this summer, saw off competition from Middlesbrough’s Patrick Bamford and fellow England youth international Nathan Redmond.<br /><br />“It’s been a really good season so far and I wouldn’t have been able to do any of it without my team-mates. <br /><br />“I also can’t thank the gaffer enough for everything he has done - he’s always had faith in me,” Dele Alli said, according to mkdons.com.<br /><br />Alli, who has netted 16 times this season, was nominated for the Sky Bet League 1 Player of the Year award but eventually lost out to Joe Garner of Preston North End.<br /><br />Photo Credit : mkdons.com<br />
