Dominic Solanke, Sheyi Ojo And Josh Onomah Feature In England Win Vs Macedonia

Three Anglo - Nigerian players were in action on Thursday afternoon as England Under 19s began their European Under-19 Championship Qualifying round with&nbsp; a 2 - 0 win over Macedonia at FFM Training Centre,&nbsp;Skopje .<br /><br />Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Josh Onomah was named in the starting XI, while Chelsea loanee Dominic Solanke and Wolves winger Sheyi Ojo started from the bench.<br /><br />Sheyi Ojo took to the pitch in the 71st minute, the same time Dominic Solanke was introduced by manager Aidy Boothroyd.<br /><br />In the closing minutes and with England leading by a lone goal, Onomah, who played the full game, would have doubled the lead but missed his opportunity.<br /><br />Adam Armstrong opened scoring for England in the 67th minute before Arsenal loanee Ainsley Maitland-Niles sealed the win a goal in the fourth minute of injury time.<br /><br />The England Under 19s will tackle Finland on Saturday before the big clash with Italy three days later.<br /><br />Photo Credit : vitesse.nl <br />
