Through a statement on their official website, Swedish Superettan outfit
AFC Eskilstuna have announced that they have completed the signing of
Nigerian striker Oke Akpoveta.
The 26-year-old, who last wore the

will keep him at AFC Eskilstuna until the end of the 2019 season.
''We
have had a dialogue with the player's adviser, Jimmy Hermez, for a
period. Finally, all the pieces fell in place, '' says CEO Azad Budak to
AFC Eskilstuna's official website.
"He is a strong player who
has a mind for goals. In addition, he works hard for the team and is
good at the box. We are very pleased that we have been able to land him
and he will contribute a lot. ''
A product of Warri Wolves,
Akpoveta numbers Brøndby IF, Ravan Baku, Brønshøj BK, Lyngby BK, IK Frej
and Dalkurd FF among his former clubs in Europe.
Last season, he scored 9 goals in 26 appearances across all competitions for Helsingborgs IF.
