Through their official website, Leicester City have confirmed the signing of Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman on loan from RB Leipzig, subject to Premier League approval.
The 2017 U20 World Cup winner with England will spend the remainder of the season at the Foxes.
Lookman is returning to the Premier League after a successful loan spell at Fulham, for whom he made 34 appearances in the top-flight in 2020-2021.
The 23-year-old was on the wish list of several Premier League clubs before he opted for Leicester City.
In his first words as a player of Leicester City, Lookman said : "I’m delighted to be here. It’s a great honour to be at such a big and amazing club with such a huge history and a quality group of players.
"The facilities are incredible. It’s pretty mind-blowing and I just can’t wait to get to work here.
"I think environment is very important for a player, so this is the right environment for me to work hard every single day and to help my craft be even better."
Lookman links up with Nigeria internationals Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi at the King Power Stadium after the international break.
