After weeks of negotiations<b>, allnigeriasoccer.com</b> understands that Portland Timbers have completed the permanent signing of Nigerian striker Fanendo Adi from FC Copenhagen. <br /><br />The 23 - year - old committed his future to the Oregon based outfit after he appended his signature to a three - year contract which keeps him at Providence Park until June 30, 2017.<br /><br />Fanendo Adi initially joined Portland Timbers on loan from the Denmark powerhouse early May, and has become one of the important players on the roster, netting 4 goals(2 assists)&nbsp; in 6 appearances.<br /><br />It is understood that the former Dynamo Kiev man turned down the chance to sign for teams based in Portugal, Turkey, Germany and Holland this summer, which ends his five&nbsp; - year association with European clubs.<br /><br />The lanky forward previously played for teams in Slovakia (AS Trencin) and Ukraine (Dynamo Kiev, Metalurh Donetsk and Tavriya).<br /><br /><br />
