Edin Dzeko Absent As Bosnia Begin Training For World Cup
Direct rivals for a second round World Cup ticket, Bosnia Herzegovina officially started preparations for the showpiece event at the training base in Hrasnica on Friday, May 16.<br /><br />The players will follow a strict training plan drawn up by the Dragons handlers. The squad will have workouts twice a day and rest every fourth day before leaving for the United States on May 27.<br /><br />All the invited players nominated to grace the mundial were involved in training on Friday apart from Edin Dzeko (Man City), Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic and Ermin BiÄakÄić , who will spend the next one week on the sidelines due to a minor injury.<br /><br />Bosnia are in Group F of the tourney alongside continental powerhouses Argentina, Nigeria and Iran. <br /><br />They have a date with African champions, Nigeria on June 21 at Arena Pantanal (Cuiabá, Mato Grosso).<br /><br /><br />
