Versatile Nigeria international Semi Ajayi has been included in the latest Whoscored.com Championship Team of the Week on the back of his outstanding performance for Rotherham United in their 1-1 draw with Reading.
The former Arsenal U23 captain scored in the 79th minute to save The Millers from defeat, cancelling out a first half strike from Ovie Ejaria.
With central defender Michael Ihiekwe returning from his loan spell with Accrington Stanley in the January transfer window, Ajayi has been deployed as a central midfielder in the last five games.
The Team of the Week contained a four-man midfield : Adam Reach (Sheffield Wednesday), Kenny McLean (Norwich), Semi Ajayi (Rotherham) and Said Benrahma (Brentford).
The Nigerian, who made his 34 consecutive start in the Championship, was awarded a rating of 8.2 for his efforts.
He made two tackles, two interceptions, one clearance and won two aerial duels against the Royals.
