The authoritative Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo has reported that Nigeria U23 international Godswill Ekpolo will not be offered a new deal when he comes off contract with the La Liga powerhouse at the end of this month.<br /><br />Since joining Barca in 2005, Ekpolo has been an example of perseverance, dedication, skill learning and improvement, tenacity, discipline, humility and sacrifice, the Barcelona based newspaper wrote.<br /><br />The wing-back progressed through the ranks, first playing for the U12B&nbsp;team before he was promoted to the B squad.<br /><br />The highlight of Ekpolo&rsquo;s career at Barcelona was winning the UEFA Youth League with the U19s squad in 2014, working a ninety-minute shift in their 3-0 victory over Benfica in the showpiece game. <br /><br />Though he has trained with the first team, the Nigerian did not make a competitive appearance for the squad.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br />
