Emmanuel Emenike Sad Karpin Was Fired As Spartak Moscow Manager
Fenerbahce attacker Emmanuel Emenike is sad the decision makers at his past club Spartak Moscow fired manager Valery Karpin.<br /><br />Following a poor run of results, the Russian Premier League outfit relieved the retired international of his duties on Tuesday.<br /><br />Speaking to sportbox.ru, the African Cup of Nations golden boot winner said : “Karpin is a great coach. Glad I was able to work with him. I still feel sorry for the Karpin for not being able to help the team win the championship of Russia. <br /><br />“Hopefully this season my former partners will be able to win gold medals in the championship of Russia.”<br /><br />Emmanuel Emenike , 26, netted 3 goals in 4 matches for Spartak Moscow before his transfer to Fenerbahce in August.<br /><br />He joined the capital team in the summer of 2011 from the Yellow Canaries.<br /><br />Photo Credit : fenerbahce.org<br />
