English-Born Nigerian Striker, Messi, Neymar Nominated For Fifa Goal Of The Year

Wales international Hal Robson-Kanu&rsquo;s goal against Belgium at Euro 2016 has been nominated for the FIFA Pusk&aacute;s Award 2016 , an award for the best goal scored in 2016.<br /><br />The West Brom striker&rsquo;s stunning Cruyff turn and cool finish was among the ten candidates when Fifa announced the shortlist via their official website on Monday, November 21.<br /><br />Mario Gaspar, Hlompho Kekana, Marlone, Lionel Messi, Neymar, Sa&uacute;l &ntilde;&iacute;guez, Daniuska Rodr&iacute;guez, Simon Skrabb and Mohd Faiz Subri are the other players in the running for the award.<br /><br />Super Eagles stars Odion Ighalo, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa who scored more than ten goals for their clubs last season were not considered worthy of inclusion. <br /><br />The winner of the award, which is decided by the public, will be announced at The Best FIFA Football Awards&trade;, to be held on 9 January 2017 in Zurich.<br /><br />Hal Robson-Kanu was born in London 27 years ago and was eligible to represent Nigeria before he made his competitive debut for Wales. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : Twitter.com<br />
