Enyimba Star, Kingsley Sokari Reveals Uganda Friendly Will Be Taken Like A World Cup Final
Enyimba striker Kingsley Sokari has reflected on Wednesday evening’s international friendly between Nigeria and Uganda, and has revealed that the Super Eagles will treat the game like a competitive fixture.<br /><br />The 19 - year - old stated that the squad wants to compensate the supporters after missing out on the 2015 African Cup of Nations. <br /><br />“Uganda is not a small side and Nigeria is not a small country when it comes to football. I can’t say we are scared of Uganda, but we will come out victorious and make the fans happy,” said Kingsley Sokari to <b>allnigeriasoccer.com</b>.<br /><br />“We are not taking this game like a friendly, we will take it as if we are playing the World Cup final. <br /><br />“The mood in camp is very high. We are ready to put in our best .”<br /><br />The attacking midfielder, who dazzled the Uyo fans in his debut for the B Team of Nigeria against Ghana Under 23s, is eager to turn out for the Super Eagles in one of his favourite surroundings.<br /><br />“If I get to play, I’ll give my best to my country. As a young player, I want to use this game to showcase myself,” he concluded.<br /><br />The Super Eagles had a light workout on Wednesday morning ahead of the contest with the Cranes of Uganda.<br />
