Ex - Giwa Striker Ibrahim Shuaibu Negotiating Three - Year Deal With FK Haugesund After Netting Hat-trick
Norwegian Tippeligaen side FK Haugesund are running the rule over Ibrahim Shuaibu with a view to a transfer in the winter transfer market.<br /><br />Regarded as one of the most exciting talents in the Nigeria Professional Football League, the 19-year-old played on loan at Giwa FC for the whole of last season before returning to his parent club Golden Boot Soccer Academy.<br /><br />Shuaibu showed his brilliance in a test game against Stord on Saturday, scoring a hat-trick and notching a helper in FK Haugesund’s 6-0 hammering of the Second Division newcomers after coming on in the second half.<br /><br /><b>Allnigeriasoccer.com </b>understands a contract is currently being negotiated and the striker will have a three - year deal in his hand which is expected to be signed in Spain during winter training, if all goes well.<br /><br />FK Haugesund will pull off a major transfer coup should they secure the services of Ibrahim Shuaibu as he has been linked with a move to European powerhouses Ajax Amsterdam and CSKA Moscow while a transfer to Heerenveen collapsed after the Dutch club could not secure him a visa.<br /><br />Ajax Amsterdam had sent their Head Scout Jan Dekoning to observe him at close quarters and he was accompanied on the trip to Abuja by another scout, Harm Sinkgraven.<br /><br />The teenager has been described as the poor man’s Luis Suarez, very clinical in front of goal and rarely wastes scoring opportunities.<br /><br />He traveled with the FK Haugesund squad to Spain for pre-season training on Sunday night and will stay in Marbella for ten days.<br />
