Ex-Teammate Of Jay-Jay Okocha Tipped To Become Algeria Coach

Representatives of the Algerian Football Federation will hold talks with retired Norway international <span class="notranslate" style="">J&oslash;rn Andersen on Wednesday, October 19 over becoming the coach of their national team.<br /><br />Afrik-foot.com has reported that the president of the Algerian Federation, </span><span class="notranslate" style="">Raouraoua, will not be involved in negotiations because he</span><span class="notranslate" style=""> is currently in Libreville to attend the draw for the 2017 African Cup of Nations. <br /><br />The 53-year-old </span><span class="notranslate" style="">Andersen has served as coach of FC Luzern U21, Rot-Wei&szlig; Oberhausen, Borussia M&ouml;nchengladbach, Skoda Xanthi, Larissa, Austria Salzburg and North Korea.<br /><br />He played alongside former Super Eagles hero Austin Okocha at Eintracht Frankfurt and also had spells with Fortuna D&uuml;sseldorf, Hamburger SV, Dynamo Dresden and FC Zurich.<br /><br />Algeria are in search of a new coach following the </span><span class="notranslate" style="">departure of Milovan Rajevac after the World Cup qualifier against Cameroon. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /></span>
