Exciting Winger Adekanye Turns Super Sub For Liverpool After Return From Injury

Netherlands youth international Bobby Adekanye has impressed for Liverpool U18s since his return from a two-month injury layoff .<br /><br />The exciting winger scored in his first game against Derby County on October 22 after a spell on the sidelines and also notched an assist in the 5-1 win, having come off the bench before the start of the second half. <br /><br />Adekanye started on the bench again in Liverpool&rsquo;s 2-0 win over Sunderland at the Academy Ground on Saturday, and showed a glimpse of his potential when he came on in the 53rd minute. <br /><br />Ibadan-born Adekanye underwent a hernia operation in September and this kept him out of the Liverpool squad that tackled Stoke City, Middlesbrough, Everton, Newcastle United and West Brom in the U18 Premier League. <br /><br />A product of Barcelona, he joined Liverpool in the summer of 2015 from Dutch club PSV.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br />
