<b>Allnigeriasoccer.com</b> understands that Portuguese Primeira Liga club Vit&oacute;ria de Guimar&atilde;es are close to announcing the signing of Dream Team VI trainee Mikel Agu. <br /><br />During negotiations, there was no point of conflict and Porto have agreed to send the central midfielder out on loan to The Conquerors for the next twelve months.<br /><br />Mikel trained with the Nigeria U23s in Abuja last month and has been named in their provisional roster for the Olympic Games but it is all but confirmed that he will miss the competition, with Porto ordering him to return for pre-season training.<br /><br />On arrival in Porto, the 23-year-old was informed that he is not in the plans of first team coach Nuno Esp&iacute;rito Santo for the forthcoming season.<br /><br />Mikel is well paid at Porto and it is envisaged that his wage bill for next season will be shared between Porto and Vit&oacute;ria de Guimar&atilde;es.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : <br />
