Queens Park Rangers dazzler Bright Osayi-Samuel has been backed to break the Turkish transfer record for outgoing transfers if he moves to Super Lig giants Fenerbahce.
The Nigerian-born winger has been linked with a departure from the Hoops in the summer, with Fenerbahce rumored to be in pole position for his signature and there's also interest from Glasgow Rangers and Celtic.
Osayi-Samuel's former agent has revealed that he offered the player to Fenerbahce at the tail end of 2019 and believes the Yellow Canaries' scouting team has been keeping tabs on the player in the last one year.
"Towards the end of 2019, when I learned that Fenerbahce was looking for such a player, I presented the name Osayi for the first time," he told Asist Analiz via Sport Witness.
"Of course, he was not transferred… but the scout teams of Fenerbahce, working in a very professional structure, continued to watch the player.
"We stopped working with the player’s British manager last summer. We have transferred the case to the relevant people at Fenerbahce, but I do not have any information.
"In addition, since I know that the goals of the player are great, I predict that if he comes here, he will break the country record and transfer from Fenerbahce to the big teams of Europe."
The Turkish record for outgoing transfers is currently held by Cenk Tosun who joined Everton for a fee in the region of 20m pounds while the Nigerian record belongs to Austin Okocha who joined PSG from Fenerbahce in exchange for £11.16m twenty-three years ago.
