Former Leicester City captain Matt Elliott reserved special praise for Wilfred Ndidi following the Foxes hard-fought 2-1 win against Everton in a Premier League game on Sunday evening.
Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho played key roles in Leicester City's sixth consecutive league win, with the former involved in the build-up to the opening goal, scored by Jamie Vardy in the 68th minute.
The Nigeria international midfielder has started and completed each game played by Leicester City in the English Premier League this season with the exception of the matchday three fixture at Sheffield United.
Speaking on Extra-Time show, Elliott said : ''Leicester weren't at their absolute best, but they got the job done. The relief and excitement was evident at the end.
''To get the three points was special. They have different options, they can win in different ways.
''Wilfred Ndidi is really starting to realise his potential this season. He's been outstanding for Leicester.''
Against Everton, Ndidi made four key passes and four tackles, not bettered by any other player, and won a game-high six aerial duels.
