Fortuna Sittard players have hailed the appointment of ex-Ajax Amsterdam star Sunday Oliseh as manager of the <span>Eerste Divisie club, and stressed that he has the pedigree to improve their dismal fortunes. <br /><br />Oliseh took over as manager on a one-and-a-half year contract after </span><span><span style="" class="notranslate">Ben van Dael was dismissed</span> following poor results in the first half of the season.<br /><br /></span>Right back <span style="" class="notranslate">Christopher Braun said to the club</span>&rsquo;s official website : &ldquo;I am very happy. When Oliseh played football in Germany, he was one of my favorite players. A very good choice of Fortuna&rdquo;.<br /><br /><span style="" class="notranslate">Captain Ferry de Regt added : </span>&ldquo;I knew him directly from Ajax. Oliseh played of course for big clubs. So he brings a lot of experience to the team.
