Fulham boss Parker reacts to Tosin's bad day at the office against Man City
Manchester City registered an easy 3-0 win against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday night to stretch their lead in the English Premier League to seventeen points.
Pep Guardiola's side got the victory courtesy of the Cottagers generosity, scoring a flurry of goals in the second half through John Stones, Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Agüero after defensive errors by their hosts.
Against his former club, Anglo-Nigerian center back Tosin Adarabioyo probably had his worst game in a Fulham jersey and was at fault for the third goal conceded by Scott Parker's team.
Tosin compounded the problems of Fulham when he brought down Torres for the penalty converted by Aguero on the hour mark.
Speaking post-match, manager Parker acknowledged that the Anglo-Nigerian had a bad day at the office and would learn from his mistakes.
"It's a big learning curve for Tosin," Parker told Fulham's official website.
"He's been exceptional and top-class for us. But like a lot of the players here, he's young and developing, they will make mistakes.
"It'll be down to how quickly they learn from these errors. He will learn fast; he'll understand the differences to make and we'll move on as a team."
Tosin and his teammates threw away an opportunity to move out of the relegation zone following the loss to Manchester City.
