The Premier League has picked Sone Aluko&rsquo;s goal against Newcastle United back in the 2013-2014 season as its Goal of the Day, according to the its official website. <br /><br />Hull City defeated Newcastle United 3-2 at St James&rsquo; Park, with their Nigeria international netting the game-winner in the 76th minute. <br /><br />Second-half substitute, George Boyd, had picked out Aluko on the edge of the box and he fired a left-footed volley into the top corner. <br /><br />Aged 24 years 7 months 2 days, the strike against the Magpies was the Nigerian&rsquo;s maiden goal in the English top-flight, and was the most eye-catching goal in the league that month according to <i>Match Magazine</i>. <br /><br />Sone Aluko played 17 games in the Premier League that season and provided four assists. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : fulhamfc.com
