Trabzonspor legend Necmi Perekli has predicted that Paul Onuachu will find the back of the net on Saturday evening when the Claret-Blues take on reigning champions Galatasaray in a highly anticipated Super Lig match at Papara Park.

Having previously scored against Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş, the Nigeria international is aiming to net his first goal against Galatasaray today.

Onuachu made a name for himself during his loan spell at Trabzonspor in the 2023-24 season and earned a permanent move to the club at the start of the current campaign.

This season, the lanky striker has delivered an outstanding return of 21 goals in just 24 appearances, placing him at the top of the Süper Lig scoring charts.

Perekli has heaped praise on Onuachu, describing the Trabzonspor striker as the standout performer among the club's leading goalscorers.

In quotes relayed by Haber TS, he said: "He makes good use of his height and utilizes crosses from the wings effectively. He will continue to score goals with the help of players who are compatible with him.

"Being the top scorer needs to be crowned with a championship title. Otherwise, it remains an individual achievement. I think he will score in this match."

Onuachu (10) ranks second behind Harry Kane (12) in the list of top goalscorers in Europe's 10 major leagues in 2026.
