Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi visited the new Nigeria Football Federation Secretariat in Abuja in the off season and had a chat with the Super Eagles media team on a variety of topics.
One of the subjects Ndidi touched on was Victor Osimhen's 70 million euros move, excluding performance-related add-ons, to Napoli.
The former Lille striker is beginning to make his mark at Napoli, netting back-to-back hat-tricks in pre-season wins against L'Aquila Calcio 1927 and Teramo.
The Premier League star has explained why he believes his international teammate will be a success in the Serie A.
"I always see that ginger when Victor is in front. I know and I am very sure Victor is going to do well, he has been doing well," Ndidi said.
"I'll say good luck to Victor, he is a great player. He has this energy that he wants to win, even when he is playing I can feel it he's this kind of player that wants to win.
"Good luck to Victor, I know he's going to do well and God will protect him. It won't be easy because it's a new team."
Ndidi has resumed training with Leicester City ahead of their first competitive match of the new season against West Brom this coming Sunday.
