'He's One That Could Start' - Solskjaer On Possibility Of Ighalo Making Full Man Utd Debut

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that transfer deadline day signing Odion Ighalo is in contention to make his full Manchester United debut in Thursday evening's Europa League match against Club Brugge.

The former Nigeria international traveled with the squad to Bruges on Wednesday, two days after a cameo appearance off the bench against Chelsea in the Premier League.

Speaking to reporters at the pre-match press conference, Solskjaer stated : "I won’t tell the team today but we will have to rotate with all the games coming up and he’s one that could start, we’ve not 100% decided yet."

The Norwegian football tactician added that Ighalo has impressed since he started training with the squad on Sunday and his teammates have adapted to him.

"Odion is a different type of striker, a goal scorer, we have seen him in training he knows how to play as a centre forward he’s a fantastic pro and human.

"He has already added to the squad and they’ve taken to him. We hope he will sharpen up he needs to do a little extra after training.

"We need to give him as much game time as possible. I’m sure he will take his changes," said Solskjaer.

Tomorrow's game between Club Brugge and Manchester United begins at 1855 hours and the return leg will take place at Old Trafford on February 27.
