Journalist Pete O'Rourke considers Joe Aribo Glasgow Rangers standout player so far in the ongoing campaign.
There has been a lot of talk about the future of Aribo as his contract runs out at the end of the 2022-2023 season.
It is believed that the Nigeria international is winding down his stint at the Scottish Premiership champions as a move to the Premier League is on the cards in the summer transfer window.
Crystal Palace have been strongly linked with a move for the left-footed midfield maestro as a replacement for Conor Gallagher who is expected to return to parent club Chelsea at the end of the season.
Various reports have suggested that the Light Blues have placed a price tag of at least ten million pounds (approximately N5.6 billion) on Aribo, a tidy profit considering that the central midfielder arrived in 2019 for 300,000 pounds.
Pete O'Rourke thinks the former Charlton Athletic ace is worth every penny as his performances with Rangers have been eye-catching.
"Yeah, it sounds like a decent price if you can get him for around £10 million. For me, he’s probably been Rangers’ best player this season," he told Givemesport.
Crystal Palace are not the only Premier League club interested in Aribo with Brentford and Watford also confirmed to be mulling over a move for the 25-year-old.
