Super Eagles star Samuel Chukwueze has made a record-breaking start to life in the Premier League following his summer loan move to Fulham from AC Milan.
The Nigerian international has rediscovered his spark in England after a challenging spell in Serie A.
In just 229 minutes across his first seven league appearances, the 26-year-old has scored two goals and provided three assists.
His blistering form means the Nigerian international is averaging a goal involvement every 46 minutes in the Premier League this season.
According to Sky Sports, this is the best minutes-per-goal contribution of any player in the competition’s history with a minimum of 200 minutes played.
Chukwueze’s resurgence has established him as a key player for the Cottagers ahead of their London Derby clash with Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage.
The Nigerian international will be aiming to add to his Premier League tally and sustain his impressive form before joining the Super Eagles for the AFCON tournament.
He has been named in Nigeria’s 54-man provisional squad for the tournament in Morocco.
Eric Chelle will be hoping Chukwueze maintains his impressive form and carries it into the Super Eagles camp as Nigeria pushes for a fourth AFCON title in Morocco.
