Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner has sensationally claimed that Nigeria Football Federation target Philip Billing is the best 22-year-old in the world at the moment.
The central midfielder has been in brilliant form since the start of this season and was named by Alan Shearer in the Premier League Team of the Week for the latest round of matches after starring against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
''I can name you not one 22-year-old player who is comparable with him. This is the truth,'' Wagner said at a press conference ahead of this afternoon's Premier League meeting vs Brighton.
"Six foot six, left footed, unbelievable shot, quick, vision, technique, long throw-in, endurance and, now, fighting spirit as well.
"So I can't name you a player but, obviously, I am not a scout. Maybe some scouts are able to do this."
Billing has started all the thirteen games played by The Terriers in the English topflight, scoring one goal in the 1-1 draw against Everton.
Nottingham Forest manager Sean Dyche faced the media on Thursday, two days before his side's Premier League trip to Anfield to face Liverpool, and provided a fitness update on his squad.
