Hull City are keeping tabs on Newcastle attacker Shola Ameobi, according to the electronic edition of the Chronicle .<br /><br />The British newspaper reported that assistant coach Steve Agnew&nbsp; ran the rule over the Nigeria international on November 30 when Newcastle United hosted West Brom. <br /><br />Though Ameobi was not on the score-sheet, he might have done enough to convince Hull to offer him a contract.<br /><br />With his place in the Super Eagles World Cup roster not guaranteed, the experienced forward knows he has to be playing regularly to stand a chance of being on the plane to Brazil.<br /><br />Shola Ameobi still has contractual obligations with Newcastle United until the summer of 2014.<br /><br /><i>Photo Credit: footballtop.com</i><br /><br />&nbsp;<br />
