Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta has called on FIFA to regulate the transfer market with regard to extension of loan deals in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
Former Nigeria international Victor Moses joined Inter Milan in the winter transfer market and was originally due to return to Chelsea at the end of this month but the season has been prolonged.
The Nerazzurri are in talks with their Premier League counterparts over the extension of Moses' loan deal beyond June 30, so he can complete the season as well as feature in the Europa League.
When asked about the futures of Moses and Manchester United loanee Alexis Sanchez, Moratta told DAZN : "We strongly wanted, like other Federations, to complete this season.
"We know there are contraindications. Injuries, anomalous situations that should be regulated. I refer to loans in or out, they have unequal intent from one club to another.
"We have two players like them from Chelsea (Moses) and Manchester United (Sanchez), others out, and we are faced with real negotiations.
"This must be regulated, the players must have the right to end all competitions, whether they are championships or Cups.
"I hope and hope in a provision by FIFA to regulate this major autonomy ".
Moses started a Serie A game for the second time since his move to Inter Milan as they were held to a 3-3 draw by Sassuolo on Wednesday evening.
