Arsenal fans were pleased with the performance of Alex Iwobi in the North London derby between Tottenham Hotspur and the Gunners on Saturday afternoon.

Manager Unai Emery reinstated the Hale End Academy product in the starting line-up, leaving out German World Cup winner Mesut Ozil and the Nigerian emerged as one of the shining lights at Wembley.

Iwobi was a threat on the left flank and was unlucky not to score in the 41st minute when he forced Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to make a good save with a curling shot.

Arsenal fans took to Twitter to hail Iwobi's brilliance against Tottenham Hotspur and reckon he's an exceptional player in the mould of Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.
