Everton star Alex Iwobi believes Everton have one key advantage over Liverpool in Sunday evening's Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.
Although the Premier League match will be held behind closed doors, the Nigeria international has emphasized that playing on their own turf will be key for Everton even if there are no fans in the stands.
To buttress Iwobi's point, Everton are unbeaten in their last seven games in the Premier League - winning four and drawing three - and three of the traditional big six Premier League teams Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea were among the teams that visited Goodison Park.
"These are the games when you see how good a player you are and we are ready for the challenge," Iwobi said to Everton's official webpage.
"Even though we have no fans there we are on our own turf and more familiar with it than Liverpool.
"We like to play in front of our fans, especially in a game like this, but we will adjust.
"Growing up, we were used to playing in parks with no one there, or just family watching… we will adapt and enjoy our football."
Iwobi scored two goals in his first two starts for Everton but has not added to that tally since September 1.
