Kennedy Igboananike In The Running For MLS Goal Of The Week
Kennedy Igboananike<span>’s goal for Chicago Fire last weekend has been nominated for the Goal of the Week in Major League Soccer after the latest round of matches.<br /><br />In a move he started, the 27-year-old curled a shot past Montreal Impact netminder </span>Evan Bush with his favourite right foot after 29 minutes of action at Toyota Park.<br /><br />In the first round of voting, Igboananike is up against Ignacio Piatti, who netted the game-winner from distance in the first minute of stoppage time against Chicago Fire.<br /><br />Giovani dos Santos(LA Galaxy),Mauro Rosales(FC Dallas),Fabián Castillo(FC Dallas),Juan Manuel Martínez(Real Salt Lake),Didier Drogba(Montreal Impact) and Jack McInerney(Portland Timbers) are also in the running for the award.<br /><br />Kennedy Igboananike has scored three goals in the American top-flight so far this season.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley<br /><br />Photo Credit : mlssoccer.com<br /><br />
