Keshi Retains Eight Domestic - Based Players For Afcon Clash Against Chad

Of the 26 domestic - based players invited for the African Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad, Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has retained only 8 for the upcoming tie in Kaduna.<br /><br />Half of the home - based players that made the grade are from Warri Wolves - Daniel Akpeyi, Azubuike Egwuekwe, Solomon Kwambe and Gbolahan Salami. <br /><br /> Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Chima Akas, Bright Onyedikachi and Ikechukwu Gabriel complete the list.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Keshi has released the players from Warri Wolves to enable them participate in this weekend<span class=\"body1\">&rsquo;s Confederation Cup game against </span>AC Leopards of Congo at the Warri Township Stadium.<br /><br />Fifteen overseas - based players led by skipper Vincent Enyeama and Ahmed Musa were also called - up for the AFCON qualifier.<br />
