Bryan Idowu will make his competitive debut for FC Khimki when they tackle CSKA Moscow on the opening day of the Russian Premier League season on Saturday afternoon, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The Red-Blacks confirmed the signing of the Nigeria international on a season-long loan from Lokomotiv Moscow on Friday, meaning he has all but ended his stint with the Muscovites as his deal expires in June 2021.
The Russian-born player has been named in FC Khimki's starting lineup against CSKA Moscow, scheduled to kickoff 1400 hours.
For the remainder of the 2020-2021 season, the Nigeria national-teamer will play with the number 4 on his back.
Since making his Russian Premier League debut against Akhmat Grozny on May 6, 2012, he has racked up 112 appearances in the top-flight, logging 7,613 minutes.
FC Khimki were promoted to the Russian top-flight at the end of last season by virtue of finishing second in the Football National League.
