Wigan Athletic are reportedly interested in signing Ibadan-born striker Victor Adeboejo in the January transfer window.
According to a Patreon report from Alan Nixon, via The72, Wigan Athletic have made a bid for Burton Albion striker Victor Adeboyejo.
The Latics are facing competition to land the signature of Adeboyejo, with Hull City also credited with an interest in the 24-year-old.
Wigan Athletic are in the market for a striker as a replacement for Nathan Broadhead, whose loan spell at the DW Stadium was cut short by parent club Everton.
Adeboyejo's displays this season have earned him admirers from clubs higher up the football pyramid in England.
With the exception of the 4-2 loss to Accrington Stanley in the Papa Johns Trophy, he has been involved in all the matches contested by the Brewers this season, scoring thirteen goals in 33 games.
Arsenal and African legend Kolo Toure was appointed Wigan Athletic's first team manager late November.
