Ademola Lookman is targeting an instant return to winning ways when Leicester City do battle with Danish Cup winners Randers in the Europa Conference League knockout round playoff tie on Thursday.
The Super Eagles hopeful was unarguably the best player for the Foxes in their 2-1 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers in a Premier League clash this past weekend and his goal in the 41st minute capped off a fine performance.
Lookman also shone as Leicester City thrashed Randers 4-1 at the King Power Stadium, registering two assists in front of his interim national team coach Augustine Eguavoen.
The former England U21 star has stressed that the players are determined to put on a improved display against Randers.
"He (Brendan Rodgers) just told us to keep our heads up, don’t let our heads drop. Our performance today was a lot more like us, and we’ll keep on working," Lookman said to the official webpage of Leicester City shortly after the game on Sunday.
"In football, the games come quickly, so today, we were unfortunate today, but we have our next fixture coming up and we’ll look to put it right."
As for early team news, Super Eagles striker Stephen Odey is in contention to start for Randers after serving a three-game ban.
