Zambia international Patson Daka has spoken about his promising partnership with his African teammate Kelechi Iheanacho.
The summer signing from Red Bull Salzburg dominated the headlines after scoring four goals as Leicester City came from behind to register a 4-3 win over Victor Moses' Spartak Moscow in a Europa League clash on Wednesday evening.
Daka has formed a good understanding with Iheanacho, with the Super Eagles striker brilliantly setting up two of the goals he netted against the Muscovites.
With age not on Jamie Vardy's side anymore, the Zambian, who has the same playing style as the Leicester City number 9, was signed as a potential replacement for the former England striker when he hangs up his boots in the coming years.
Speaking at Wednesday evening's post-match press conference monitored by allnigeriasoccer.com, Daka admitted that he enjoys playing up front with Iheanacho.
Daka told reporters : "It was great to play alongside Iheanacho, and it's because of how we train.
"It all starts in training, it doesn't matter who you play with because we understand each other in training and we continue to support each other.
"I think today in the game it has showed, even in the previous games when he plays with Vardy or anyone else it shows, so it all comes down to training".
After firing blanks in his first five matches as a Leicester City player, Daka has found his scoring boots with five goals in his last two games against quality opposition in Manchester United and Spartak Moscow.
