Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has spoken of his happiness after winning Het Laatste Nieuws&rsquo; 2016 Goal of the Year award. <br /><br />The Nigeria international claimed the award for his brilliant half-volley from distance in Racing Genk&rsquo;s 4-2 win over Club Brugge in April 2016, and he has admitted that he never knew the ball will end up in the back of the net.<br /><br />&nbsp;&ldquo;It was the goal against Club Brugge. We won 4-2 against the later champions. I still remember the crowd and the way I took the ball, &rdquo; Ndidi told Leicester&rsquo;s official website. <br /><br />&ldquo;I was a bit confused. I didn&rsquo;t expect to score like that when I took the shot. I&rsquo;ve scored a few goals so far in my career, a few nice ones too. <br /><br />&ldquo;It comes gradually.
