Super Eagles forwards Ademola Lookman, Akor Adams and Samuel Chukwueze are among the 21 players currently in camp as the Nigeria national football team intensify preparations for their upcoming international friendly matches against Iran and Jordan.

The trio arrived at the team’s training base in Antalya, Turkey, bringing the number of players in camp to 21 ahead of the team’s first official training session on Wednesday afternoon.

Other players already in camp include Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Alex Iwobi, Emmanuel Fernandez, Yira Sor, Paul Onuachu, Philip Otele, Semi Ajayi, Moses Simon, Francis Uzoho, Bruno Onyemaechi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Frank Onyeka, Adebayo Adeleye, Chidera Ejuke, Raphael Onyedika, Igoh Ogbu, Maduka Okoye and Zaidu Sanusi.

The team’s technical crew had earlier opened camp on Tuesday with the arrival of several players, including experienced midfielders Iwobi and Onyeka, who were among the early arrivals.

Meanwhile, two players are still being expected to join the squad before the first training session on Wednesday. They are Fulham defender Calvin Bassey and team captain Wilfred Ndidi.

The Super Eagles will take on Iran in their first friendly match on Friday, March 27, before facing Jordan in their second game on Tuesday, March 31.

The fixtures are expected to provide the coaching crew an opportunity to assess players and fine-tune the squad ahead of competitive matches in 2026.
