Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are competing with Leicester City to sign PSV Eindhoven teenage sensation Nonso Madueke, according to the Daily Mail.
Representatives from United, Tottenham and Leicester City were in attendance at the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica to run the rule over the Super Eagles-eligible winger during the UEFA Champions League play-off first leg meeting between Benfica and PSV on Wednesday night.
Other talent spotters who watched Madueke in action came from Juventus, Bayern Munich, AS Roma and Atalanta, but it is possible that the clubs were doing opposition scouting with all of them participating in the Champions League group stage with the exception of Jose Mourinho's team.
The Anglo-Nigerian has been arguably PSV's standout performer since the season began, scoring five goals and chipping in with an assist in seven appearances across all competitions.
Madueke had attracted interest from Manchester United prior to transferring to PSV in the summer of 2018 after rejecting a scholarship at Tottenham Hotspur.
PSV want to keep the 19-year-old for at least one more season so it will take a lot of money for one of the interested clubs to sign him this summer.
Madueke has three years to run on his contract with the Eindhoven club.
