Manchester United are among the big teams in Europe interested in signing Sarpsborg 08 midfielder Krepin Diatta, according to his agent Youssoupha Fall.

The 18-year-old put himself in the shop window at the 2017 Fifa U20 World Cup, where he assisted Senegal qualify for the knockout stage.

"I’ve spoken to Manchester United’s scouts twice. First during the U20 World Cup, and again after the game against Brann." Fall told Norwegian newspaper VG Sporten.

"At the moment there is nothing concrete, but they like Krepin and are keeping close tabs on him.

''We have no rush, but if he leaves Sarpsborg, Diatta will move to a club that’s playing in the Champions League."

Krepin Diatta is also being monitored by French Ligue 1 clubs Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille , Atlético Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.

He has recorded eight appearances in the Norwegian top-flight in 2017.
