The Red Devils spend an average of 16.9 million pounds ( equivalent of N7.9 billion) per signing.

The top three most expensive transfers in the history of the Premier League involved Manchester United.

United broke the global transfer record when they signed Paul Pogba from Juventus for £89 million, and Everton recently accepted their £75 million bid for Romelu Lukaku.

Their third most expensive signing is Angel Di Maria, who was bought from Real Madrid for £59.7m.
