Manchester United are looking at loaning out Nigeria-eligible striker Shola Shoretire before the close of the summer transfer window, according to The Times.
The Red Devils have brought in Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund and Jesse Lingard has returned from his loan spell at West Ham, which could see Shoretire's game time limited this season.
He has more competition for a spot in the first team as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can call upon Marcus Rashford, Edinson
Cavani, Mason Greenwood and Anthony Martial.
Manchester United have taken the decision to send him out on loan to get regular first-team football.
No potential destination has been mentioned but the 17-year-old is most likely moving to a Football League club.
With several United first teamers reporting for pre-season training late due to their participation in the European Championship and Copa America, the Anglo-Nigerian was invited to train with the main team and featured in preparatory matches against Derby County, Queens Park Rangers and Brentford, coming off the bench in all the games.
Shoretire's three appearances for Manchester United's first team came against Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League, and Real Sociedad in the Europa League last season.
