Both Liverpool and Manchester coaches have announced their confirmed starting line-ups for Saturday afternoon's Premier League meeting between the two rivals at Anfield.

In a best case scenario, five players of Nigerian descent would have made the starting eleven for both teams, but only one has been included in the match day squad, Liverpool's Dominic Solanke and he starts on the bench.

It means Netherlands youth international Bobby Adekanye, who recently trained with the first team, and England U20 World Cup-winning midfielder Ovie Ejaria have not been considered by Reds coach Jürgen Klopp.

As for Manchester United, manager Jose Mourinho will not be able to call upon the Lagos-born midfielder Tosin Kehinde and United States youth-teamer Matthew Olosunde.

Manchester United will move ten points clear of Liverpool if they secure a win in the match day eight fixture.
