Michael Emenalo Faces Chelsea Exit Over Poor Transfer Record

According to <i>The Sun</i>, Chelsea Technical Director Michael Emenalo could be shown the exit door by the Stamford Bridge side in the near future following the club&rsquo;s poor record in the transfer market.<br /><br />The <i>Blues</i> spent approximately &pound;75 million on the signing of five players - Salah, Juan Cuadrado, Filipe Luis, Pedro and Papy Djilobodji- but the first two have been farmed out on loan after failing to establish themselves in the squad , while the Brazil international was sold back to Atletico Madrid.<br /><br />Emenalo, a retired Nigeria international, was promoted Technical Director in 2011 after previously working in the scouting and coaching departments .<br /><br />Including his appearances in the 1994 World Cup in USA, the former Notts County full - back played 14 times for the Super Eagles.<br /><br />Photo Credit : justchelsea.com<br />
