Former Super Eagles skipper Austin Jay-Jay Okocha met again with Argentina legend Diego Maradona on Tuesday during the presentation of the official mascot of the 2018 World Cup in Bahrain.
The ex-PSG dazzler and Maradona were invited to the event along with other stars, including Valderrama, Ronaldinho, Cafu, Trezeguet and Michel Salgado.
Okocha stood toe-to-toe with the ex-Argentina skipper in one of the most memorable games played by Nigeria at the World Cup back in 1994, when he was introduced with four minutes left at the Foxboro Stadium, Massachusetts.
Apart from PSG, Okocha wore the jerseys of Borussia Neunkirchen, Eintracht Frankfurt, Fenerbahce, Bolton Wanderers, Qatar SC and Hull City.
The presentation of the official mascot of the 2018 World Cup took place ahead of the 67th FIFA Congress on Thursday.
