<span class="st">Wolverhampton Wanderers are sweating on the fitness of Nigeria goalkeeper Carl Ikeme ahead of their next competitive fixture against </span>Derby County in the Football League Championship.<br /><br />The shot-stopper had to be replaced before the start of the second half in Wolves&rsquo; 1-1 draw at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday after picking up a hip injury when he stretched to make a save. <br /><br />Both the Molineux Stadium and Ikeme have released a statement, hoping that the injury sustained by the Nigerian is not a long-term injury.<br /><br />&ldquo;Carl Ikeme had a hip injury which Rob hopes isn&rsquo;t too serious. Pleased to see Andy Lonergan make a positive impact when he came on, &rdquo; Wolves said in a statement via Twitter.<br /><br />Ikeme added :&nbsp; &ldquo;We deserved at least a point and lads all dug in. Hopefully injury nothing to serious.Congrats @_DaveEdwards great goal and performance 🙌🏾.&rdquo;<br /><br />It is envisaged that the goalkeeper will undergo tests in the coming days to determine the severity of the injury.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br />
