Toronto FC youngster Ayomide Akinola showed his quality is not in doubt after scoring a brace and notching an assist as the United States U17 National Team thrashed Turkey 5-1 at the 2016 Nike International Friendlies.<br /><br />The 16-year-old also got on the scoresheet in United States&rsquo; 7-1 rout of Portugal on Wednesday night. <br /><br />Akinola provided the assist for Andrew Carleton&rsquo;s goal just before the interval, before finding the net himself on the hour mark, then scored his second of the game seven minutes later. <br /><br />The Canadian-born starlet started and played the full game against the Turkish opponents, while he subbed out in the 67th minute in the routine win against Portugal.<br /><br />United States will win the 2016 Nike International Friendlies title if they avoid defeat against Brazil on Sunday, November 4.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : ussoccer.com<br />
