Nigerians Abroad Tuesday Wrap: Mikel, Odemwingie, Akpom, Iwobi & Odubajo Feature In Capital One Cup

Stoke City, Everton and Hull City are through to the quarter - finals of the Capital One Cup after triumphing on penalties, with normal and extra time ending one goal apiece in the three matches.<br /><br />Chelsea were dumped out of the competition in the fourth round by the <i>Potters.</i> <br /><br />Nigeria international <b>John Obi Mikel</b> played the full game for the Londoners while <b>Peter Odemwingie </b>was introduced in the 90th minute. England U21s striker Akpom came on in the 74th minute and scored <i>The Tigers</i> fourth spot kick.&nbsp; <b>Sone Aluko</b> was not in the squad.<br /><br />At Goodison Park, <b>Ross Barkley</b> was introduced in the 62n minute with Everton trailing Norwich City 1 - 0.
