Hibernians have extended their lead in the Maltese championship to seven points following their 2 - 0 win over Mosta on Saturday.<br /><br />Clayton Failla gave Hibernians the lead seven minutes after the restart from the penalty spot . <br /><br />It was a contentious decision by the referee as Mosta players claimed the player was brought down outside the 18 - yard box.<br /><br />In stoppage time, substitute Obinna Obiefule netted his first goal of the season less than a minute after he was introduced by manager Branko Nisevic.<br /><br />&ldquo;I want to apologize to Mosta supporters.
